Hangzhou experiences

December 16, 2010

In November 2006, I discovered China, for any company trip.

I stayed one month and i had been so busy heading from the factory to a factory , I did not possess the time to visit anything and the weather, was cloudy and damp that I did not presume turning back.

Staying in Hangzhou at this time was meaning: starting at 9am and finishing 11pm.

However I had a contract and in January 2007, I had to go back again for another two weeks. This time I can appreciate some rest during the day end and through the begining of the yea, to the first, on a sunny Saturday afternoon, I paid a visit to Xihu, the Wonderful Western Lake.

Longjing Tea: A Brief History & Culture

Thousands of years ago, people would make their way to a rocky ridge overlooking Hangzhou’s West Lake and named Fenghuang. Here they would pray for rain.

In the Three Kingdom’s and Eastern Jin Periods (roughly 220 – 420AD), people would make their way to a natural spring located in the hills overlooking Hangzhou’s West Lake. Here they would mix potions and elixirs.
