A Trip in Shanghai

May 27, 2010

Every city has a key word in itself. Some are“classic”, some are“mordern”,others are “warm” and “peaceful”,which magically clears up all the annoying thoughts. While Shanghai impressed me by its interculture image.I love this city tremendously because it profoundly shows how strong the allure of the city is to people’s memory, representing love and joy.

In Shanghai’s Jungian District, different sized of western style cafes could be found here and there. Taking a walk in Jungian District, you will surprisingly see a little & warm or large & nice café

Lassoes Plateau

May 27, 2010

Along the northern border of Shaanxi, the first sight comes into your eyes is a great successful land–Lassoes Plateau. Coated up with sands, wind and Gobi desert, the Plateau is dotted with a lots vales, humps and valleys. Maybe from the apertures of poplar trees you will find layers of Yao Dong ( cave-house ) stand by the mountains. Thus the impression one can never forget towards Lassoes Plateau upon his arriving.

Far from the bustling metropolitans and picturesque limpid rivers in central Shaanxi, the Plateau was born with little verdure and splendid colors. It is always filled up with deadly tranquil, solitude and arid. Does a person understand Chinese well when he appreciates only these big cities, towns or those breath-taking sceneries? An extremely different idea could suddenly arise out of your mind while you traveling North Shaanxi; more symbolic lives are really exited in high mountains, vacant Gobi area, allayed Yao Dong, arid yellow slopes and simple peasants.

Windows on the Wall

May 27, 2010
The poster in the hostel reception reads ‘Cycle the Wall.’ Looking for something a little different, this catches my attention. What could be more fun than cycling along narrow quiet country lanes in the shadow of the Great Wall? Perfect! We booked with little hesitation and were happy to hear that we would join just two others to make a small group. After weeks on the road traveling I am ready to let someone else take charge of my third visit to the ‘Wall’. The door to door service will take the hassle out of coming and going – I can just relax and enjoy the experience. What I imagine and the reality of it would prove to be two very different things.

My Trip in Hainan

May 27, 2010

The sunny island spells freedom and insouciance, a reminder of lazy summer days. Hainan its provocative nature is expressed in the visual of the beach and sea, the nudity combines simplicity, gentleness, strength, innocence and maturity.

First time to see the sea, totally exciting! While,When the endless sea met the sunshine, which created a miracle just like 海市蜃楼 (in Chinese).People could see in the海市蜃楼that a Chinese beauty dressed in Xinjiang minority clothes was smiling and waving her hands in the picture, which was hanging between the sea and the sky. At the sight, all the people at spot were stupefied and shocked by her beauty. A Chinese handsome boy realized all at sudden and took a pic

A Day in Huanglong

May 27, 2010

For the May holiday I took a week-long trip to Sichuan Province. I flew from Shenzhen to Chengdu and then hopped on buses from there to Songpan, Huanglong, and Jiuzhaigou. So far, the most worthwhile trip I have taken in seven months in China.

On the third day of the journey, I took the early morning bus from Songpan to Huanglong. Fortunately, the hotel was across the street from the station (although Songpan is not large and a taxi would only take 15 minutes from the other side of town). The only public buses are early in the morning. It takes approximately two hours through the winding mountain roads. In May, there are still many areas covered by the season’s snowfall. It can be difficult to stay awake along the route but the scenery is beautiful if you can see through the rain.
